M\u00e1s vale tarde que nunca, parece que la compa\u00f1\u00eda por fin implementar\u00e1&nbsp;<strong>soporte para PCIe 4.0<\/strong>&nbsp;en los procesadores&nbsp;<strong>Intel Rocket Lake<\/strong>&nbsp;de 11\u00aa Gen, y as\u00ed ha sido confirmado a trav\u00e9s de un benchmark filtrado en la base de datos de SiSoftware. Los procesadores Intel Rocket Lake ser\u00e1n, adem\u00e1s, los \u00faltimos que utilizar\u00e1n el&nbsp;<strong>nodo de 14 nm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se espera que los procesadores Intel Rocket Lake se lancen a finales de este mismo a\u00f1o, pero tambi\u00e9n se especula sobre un posible lanzamiento ya en el CES 2021 que tendr\u00e1 lugar en enero de 2021. Bajo la familia de procesadores Core de 11\u00aa generaci\u00f3n, Rocket Lake ofrecer\u00e1 una nueva arquitectura basada de nuevo en la litograf\u00eda a 14 nm de la marca, y a estas alturas ya se han visto muestras de ingenier\u00eda con hasta<strong>&nbsp;8 n\u00facleos y 16 hilos<\/strong>&nbsp;de proceso a velocidades de 5 GHz. Estos procesadores utilizar\u00e1n el&nbsp;<strong>socket LGA1200<\/strong>&nbsp;que actualmente ya tienen las placas base Z490.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Intel por fin da soporte a PCIe 4.0, un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s tarde que AMD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una de las caracter\u00edsticas principales de las placas base con&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hardzone.es\/tutoriales\/componentes\/placas-z490-compatibilidad-pcie-4-0\/\"><strong>chipset Z490 es precisamente la compatibilidad con dispositivos PCIe 4.0<\/strong><\/a>, ysin embargo la l\u00ednea de procesadores Intel Comet Lake-S no le da soporte. As\u00ed pues, ahora ya sabemos que este soporte para la interfaz PCIe 4.0 se habilitar\u00e1 solo con procesadores Intel Rocket Lake-S, y esto es as\u00ed a pesar de que todos los principales fabricantes tienen alg\u00fan modelo de placa base que lo soporta de manera nativa desde hace tiempo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora, un benchmark filtrado en la base de datos de SiSoftware muestra un procesador Intel Rocket Lake funcionando con un SSD NVMe PCIe 4.0, confirmando esta compatibilidad por fin. Este dispositivo muestra un ancho de banda de 1.2 GB\/s y velocidades de E\/S de hasta 45.000 IOPS, unos datos que realmente no son muy elevados pero que se muestra claramente la interfaz PCIe 4\u00d74.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hay que tener en cuenta que AMD ya ofrece soporte para esta interfaz desde que lanz\u00f3 la plataforma X570 el a\u00f1o pasado, por lo que Intel va a llegar m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o tarde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar de que no hay detalles concretos para este chip en espec\u00edfico, contiene una GPU Gen 12 \u00abXe\u00bb. Los 32 EUs componen un total de 256 n\u00facleos que funcionan a una velocidad de 1150 MHz (no muy diferente de lo que hemos visto ya en los procesadores Tiger Lake para port\u00e1tiles, que cuentan con hasta 96 EUs para un total de 768 n\u00facleos a 1300 MHz).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La plataforma Z490 de Intel est\u00e1 totalmente preparada para soportar los procesadores de 11\u00aa generaci\u00f3n, incluyendo el soporte para PCIe 4.0, si bien todav\u00eda hay dudas entre los fabricantes de placas base sobre si Intel admitir\u00e1 abiertamente dos plataformas a la vez como hicieron con Z370 y Z390, o si bien Z490 y Z590 se bloquear\u00e1n con una sola generaci\u00f3n de CPU cada uno (Z490 para Comet Lake y Z590 para Rocket Lake). Esto ser\u00eda sin duda una mala decisi\u00f3n por parte del fabricante, pero ya sab\u00e9is c\u00f3mo funciona Intel a veces cuando hablamos de estos temas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FUENTE:
