Estos n\u00facleos ser\u00e1n parte de los&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hardzone.es\/reportajes\/que-es\/arquitectura-big-little-procesadores\/\">procesadores h\u00edbridos<\/a>&nbsp;actuales y futuros de Intel, y han estado sirviendo a la l\u00ednea Atom renombrada de Intel para servidores de bajo consumo y alta cantidad de n\u00facleos. Ahora, bajo esta l\u00ednea de productos, Intel est\u00e1 preparando los&nbsp;<strong>Atom \u00abGrand Ridge\u00bb<\/strong>, con hasta&nbsp;<strong>24 n\u00facleos<\/strong>&nbsp;por procesador y soporte para&nbsp;<strong>PCI-Express 4.0<\/strong>&nbsp;e incluso&nbsp;<strong>memoria RAM DDR5<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En los \u00faltimos tiempos Intel ha estado dise\u00f1ando bajo la familia de productos Atom procesadores para micro servidores, NAS y hardware de infraestructura de red que basan su funcionamiento en grandes cantidades de n\u00facleos de bajo consumo. Con la introducci\u00f3n de Grand Ridge se implanta por fin compatibilidad con las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas que han ido saliendo al mercado desde hace tiempo como&nbsp;<strong>PCI-Express 4.0<\/strong>, pero tambi\u00e9n compatibilidad con la&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hardzone.es\/tutoriales\/componentes\/jedec-memoria-ram-ddr5-estandar\/\">pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n de memoria RAM, DDR5<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intel Atom Grand Ridge, hasta 24 n\u00facleos de bajo consumo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta noticia viene a ra\u00edz de una diapositiva filtrada por AdoredTV en la que se desvela el procesador Intel Atom \u00abGrand Ridge\u00bb, con 24 n\u00facleos. Ser\u00eda el sucesor del procesador Atom P5962B \u00abSnow Ridge\u00bb tambi\u00e9n de 24 n\u00facleos, fabricado con el nodo de 10 nm de la compa\u00f1\u00eda y que cuenta con n\u00facleos Tremont. Grand Ridge supone un notable incremento de IPC con sus n\u00facleos \u00abGracemont\u00bb, que har\u00e1n su debut en 2021 con el lanzamiento de Alder Lake como los n\u00facleos \u00absmall\u00bb de la arquitectura h\u00edbrida de procesadores de Intel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hardzone.es\/app\/uploads-hardzone.es\/2020\/08\/Intel-Atom-Grand-Ridge-e1596789029521.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456667\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>El silicio \u00abGrand Ridge\u00bb est\u00e1 programado para ser construido en el nodo de fabricaci\u00f3n HLL+ de 7 nm de Intel, y cuenta con 24 n\u00facleos \u00abGracemont\u00bb en seis grupos de cuatro n\u00facleos cada uno. Cada uno de estos cl\u00fasters comparte una cach\u00e9 L2 de 4 MB entre los cuatro n\u00facleos, mientras que una cach\u00e9 L3 de tama\u00f1o todav\u00eda desconocido protege las transferencias entre los seis cl\u00fasteres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intel est\u00e1 implementa en estos procesadores su&nbsp;<strong>interconexi\u00f3n SCF<\/strong>&nbsp;(tejido coherente escalable) entre los diversos componentes del SoC Grand Ridge. Adem\u00e1s de los seis grupos de n\u00facleos, el silicio presenta un controlador de memoria integrado DDR5 de dos canales y un complejo ra\u00edz&nbsp;<strong>PCI-Express 4.0 con 16 carriles<\/strong>. Tambi\u00e9n cuenta con hardware de funci\u00f3n fija que acelera el procesamiento de la pila de red. Incorpora varias opciones de conectividad USB y GPIO relevantes para las configuraciones de estaciones base 5G.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El lanzamiento se producir\u00e1 m\u00e1s tarde que pronto<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De todos modos no podemos cantar victoria todav\u00eda. Dicen que m\u00e1s vale tarde que nunca, pero a estas alturas Intel todav\u00eda no ha desplegado compatibilidad con las tecnolog\u00edas de vanguardia (las cuales AMD ya lleva m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o ofreciendo), y dado el anuncio de Intel de un retraso en el despliegue de su nodo de 7 nm, no se espera que Grand Ridge llegue hasta 2022 o incluso m\u00e1s tarde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As\u00ed pues, estos procesadores Atom pintan realmente muy interesantes, pero todav\u00eda falta cerca de dos a\u00f1os para que podamos ver los primeros dispositivos que los incorporan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FUENTE:
