Y como buena tarjeta en su presentaci\u00f3n, lleg\u00f3 acompa\u00f1ada de unos drivers que, como era de esperar, dieron soporte a esta GPU y a dos modelos m\u00e1s: las&nbsp;<strong>CMP 30HX y CMP 40HX<\/strong>, ambas tarjetas gr\u00e1ficas para miner\u00eda en exclusiva. Pero esos drivers han desvelado m\u00e1s de lo que NVIDIA querr\u00eda, ya que estas tarjetas para mining no ser\u00e1n Ampere, \u00a1sino&nbsp;<strong>Turing<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por un lado, NVIDIA sorprendi\u00f3 a muchos con el anuncio de una nueva gama de tarjetas gr\u00e1ficas en exclusiva para el mercado de la miner\u00eda. Aunque esto ya lo adelantamos en su momento, ahora y tras la salida del nuevo driver, NVIDIA tiene planes bastante interesantes para estas tarjetas y las RTX que est\u00e1n por llegar, segmentando a\u00fan m\u00e1s las gamas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NVIDIA resucita una vez m\u00e1s a Turing y la destina al mercado de miner\u00eda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hardzone.es\/app\/uploads-hardzone.es\/2021\/02\/CMP-HX-GPU.jpg\" alt=\"CMP-HX-GPU\" class=\"wp-image-569980\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Todav\u00eda sin especificaciones oficiales y ya tenemos sobre la mesa la primera gran noticia que puede descongestionar el mercado minero: las GPU CMP HX no estar\u00e1n basadas en Ampere como arquitectura principal, sino en Turing, como si fuesen una RTX 2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El anuncio no es ni mucho menos oficial, pero lo que s\u00ed es fue el soporte para los dos primeros modelos que, visto lo visto, llegar\u00e1n al mercado m\u00e1s pronto que tarde. Estos modelos son los nombrados 30 HX y 40HX, los cuales contar\u00e1n con procesadores basados en Turing y siendo espec\u00edficos, la primera se basar\u00e1 en el&nbsp;<strong>TU116<\/strong>&nbsp;y la segunda en el&nbsp;<strong>TU106<\/strong>, por lo que habr\u00e1 disparidades interesantes en el rendimiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De momento y a falta de saber sus especificaciones, solo podemos contar con lo desvelado por NVIDIA en su anuncio. Y es que la CMP 30HX tendr\u00e1 un Hash Rate para miner\u00eda de&nbsp;<strong>26 MH\/s<\/strong>, un consumo de<strong>&nbsp;125 vatios<\/strong>&nbsp;para albergar un solo conector de&nbsp;<strong>8 pines<\/strong>&nbsp;y<strong>&nbsp;6 GB de VRAM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En cambio, la CMP 40HX sube hasta los&nbsp;<strong>36 MH\/s, 185 vatios<\/strong>&nbsp;para el mismo conector de&nbsp;<strong>8 pines<\/strong>&nbsp;y&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/hardzone.es\/tutoriales\/rendimiento\/cantidad-vram-necesaria\/\">eleva su VRAM<\/a>&nbsp;hasta los<strong>&nbsp;8 GB<\/strong>. Ambas tarjetas se esperan para este Q1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 NVIDIA opta por Turing en vez de Ampere? \u00bfser\u00e1n las CMP fabricadas a 8 nm o 12 nm?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hardzone.es\/app\/uploads-hardzone.es\/2021\/02\/NVIDIA-CMP-HX-specs.jpg\" alt=\"NVIDIA-CMP-HX-specs\" class=\"wp-image-574744\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras el impacto de saber que estas GPUs estar\u00e1n basadas en la arquitectura&nbsp;<strong>Turing<\/strong>, queda la pregunta m\u00e1s importante, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9? Pues hay varios motivos que, aunque no son oficiales, tienen todo el sentido del mundo. Comenzando por la obviedad de que el gamer actual quiere y busca las GPUs Ampere a los precios correctos, por lo que desviar l\u00ednea de producci\u00f3n para miner\u00eda con esta arquitectura es reducir el n\u00famero de ventas y beneficios en el sector que m\u00e1s rentabilidad le da a NVIDIA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El segundo factor es muy curioso: la eficiencia. Desde el punto de vista energ\u00e9tico y de rendimiento, Turing es un poco mejor que Ampere y gestiona mejor los picos de energ\u00eda, lo cual es vital para que cualquier granja farmer rentabilice la inversi\u00f3n de las GPUs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hardzone.es\/app\/uploads-hardzone.es\/2021\/02\/NVIDIA-CMP-HX-drivers.jpg\" alt=\"NVIDIA-CMP-HX-drivers\" class=\"wp-image-574747\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>En tercer lugar, tenemos que mirar el precio, ya que NVIDIA podr\u00eda ofrecer estas tarjetas gr\u00e1ficas a un coste menor a las Ampere, lo cual enlaza con el cuarto y \u00faltimo argumento: el nodo de fabricaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque es Samsung la encargada de los 8 nm de las GPUs Ampere, los\u00a0<strong>12 nm de TSMC<\/strong>\u00a0no est\u00e1n realmente tan lejos en rendimiento y eficiencia frente a los coreanos, pero a diferencia de estos, el precio por oblea y chip es mucho menor.
