{"id":28988,"date":"2021-05-21T10:14:43","date_gmt":"2021-05-21T16:14:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/goldenti.com\/site\/?p=28988"},"modified":"2021-05-21T10:14:46","modified_gmt":"2021-05-21T16:14:46","slug":"snap-compra-firma-de-realidad-aumentada-waveoptics-por-mas-de-500-mdd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goldenti.com\/site\/snap-compra-firma-de-realidad-aumentada-waveoptics-por-mas-de-500-mdd\/","title":{"rendered":"Snap compra firma de realidad aumentada WaveOptics por m\u00e1s de 500 mdd"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>El acuerdo ayudar\u00e1 la empresa due\u00f1a de Snapchat a abrirse camino hacia un futuro en el que las gafas AR podr\u00edan ser omnipresentes.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.forbes.com.mx\/2020\/06\/snapchat-scaled-e1621611698801-640x360.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reuters.-<\/strong>&nbsp;Snap Inc anunci\u00f3 el viernes que adquirir\u00e1 WaveOptics Ltd, una empresa brit\u00e1nica de tecnolog\u00eda de realidad aumentada (AR), por m\u00e1s de 500 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El acuerdo, informado por primera vez por&nbsp;<em>The Verge<\/em>&nbsp;y confirmado por un portavoz de Snap, ayudar\u00e1 al propietario de la aplicaci\u00f3n de mensajer\u00eda fotogr\u00e1fica Snapchat a abrirse camino hacia un futuro en el que las gafas AR podr\u00edan ser omnipresentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Snap, junto con otros gigantes tecnol\u00f3gicos como Facebook Inc y Apple Inc, est\u00e1n compitiendo por desarrollar dispositivos AR como la pr\u00f3xima frontera tecnol\u00f3gica despu\u00e9s del tel\u00e9fono inteligente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La idea tras las gafas AR es que podr\u00eda permitir a un usuario observar virtualmente las direcciones de la ruta frente a ellos, o ver informaci\u00f3n sobre un punto de referencia en su entorno, por ejemplo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Snap dijo que pagar\u00e1 la mitad de los 500 millones de d\u00f3lares acordados por WaveOptics en acciones al \u00faltimo cierre de bolsa, y la otra mitad en efectivo o en t\u00edtulos a dos a\u00f1os. La compa\u00f1\u00eda tiene su sede en Santa M\u00f3nica, California, mientras que WaveOptics alberga oficinas centrales en Oxford, Inglaterra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El jueves, Snap present\u00f3 una nueva versi\u00f3n de sus gafas Spectacles, la primera en incorporar AR con dos c\u00e1maras integradas, dos parlantes y cuatro micr\u00f3fonos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los nuevos Spectacles no se vender\u00e1n al
