Parece ser que tendremos 24 n\u00facleos en Alder Lake, pero, con cierta trampa por parte de Intel. \u00bfQu\u00e9 nos dice la nueva informaci\u00f3n?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Raptor Lake es una de las arquitecturas de CPU que se encuentran en el mapa de ruta de Intel para el 2022 y por tanto ser\u00e1 lanzada oficialmente en menos de un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s que Alder Lake, pero al contrario de Alder Lake donde los cambios va a ser m\u00e1s profundos en Raptor Lake vamos a ver cambios a una menor escala. Veamos qu\u00e9 es lo que se ha filtrado sobre una de las pr\u00f3ximas CPUs de Intel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Raptor Cove, el nuevo n\u00facleo para Alder Lake<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hardzone.es\/app\/uploads-hardzone.es\/2021\/03\/Intel-Raptor-Lake.jpg\" alt=\"Raptor Lake\" class=\"wp-image-582571\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>La nueva informaci\u00f3n acerca de Raptor Lake nos viene del canal de Youtube sobre hardware&nbsp;<em>Moore\u2019s Law is Dead<\/em>. Seg\u00fan la informaci\u00f3n filtrada por este usuario Intel estrenar\u00e1 un nuevo n\u00facleo para Raptor Lake,&nbsp;<strong>el cual habr\u00eda sido bautizado como Raptor Cove<\/strong>&nbsp;y no podemos negar que es la primera vez que o\u00edmos este nombre. \u00bfLas caracter\u00edsticas de Raptor Cove? Por lo visto ser\u00e1 el sucesor de Golden Cove y por tanto<strong>&nbsp;vendr\u00e1 con un IPC mejorado y nuevas instrucciones<\/strong>, pero al mismo tiempo ser\u00e1 una mejora de Golden Cove en vez de ser un n\u00facleo hecho desde cero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por el momento no sabemos cu\u00e1les son las nuevas instrucciones, pero teniendo en cuenta que Sapphire Rapids utilizar\u00e1 una unidad<a href=\"https:\/\/hardzone.es\/tutoriales\/rendimiento\/intel-amx\/\">&nbsp;Intel AMX<\/a>&nbsp;y esta se basa en una versi\u00f3n de Golden Cove es posible que Intel lleve con Raptor Lake dicha unidad. Lo cual tiene sentido, en especial por el hecho que cada vez hay m\u00e1s aplicaciones que utilizan este tipo de unidades para acelerar su ejecuci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>24 n\u00facleos para competir contra Zen 4<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hardzone.es\/app\/uploads-hardzone.es\/2021\/06\/Raptor-Lake-Rumores.jpg\" alt=\"intel Raptor Lake Rumores\" class=\"wp-image-621777\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Raptor Lake ser\u00e1 lanzado a finales de 2022 y por tanto coincidir\u00e1 en su fecha de lanzamiento con el AMD Zen 4. \u00bfLa apuesta de Intel para hacer frente a AMD?&nbsp;<strong>Volver\u00e1n a apostar por el big.LITTLE<\/strong>&nbsp;de nuevo despu\u00e9s de Alder Lake, pero esta vez con el&nbsp;<strong>aumento de n\u00facleos total de 16 a 24 n\u00facleos en total.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El aumento de n\u00facleos, no obstante, no se dar\u00e1 de manera equitativa entre ambos tipos de n\u00facleos, sino que ser\u00e1n los m\u00e1s simples,<strong>&nbsp;los n\u00facleos tipo Intel Atom los que ser\u00e1n aumentados a 16 unidades<\/strong>, mientras que Raptor Cove mantendr\u00e1 la misma cantidad de n\u00facleos que su antecesor Golden Cove,&nbsp;<strong>8 en total<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otros detalles que se han filtrado de Raptor Lake son que este funcionar\u00e1 bajo el mismo socket que Alder Lake, el&nbsp;<strong>LGA1700<\/strong>&nbsp;y que al igual que este podr\u00eda estar fabricado bajo el&nbsp;<strong>nodo de 10 nm SuperFin<\/strong>&nbsp;de la propia Intel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 prepara Intel m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de 2022?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hardzone.es\/app\/uploads-hardzone.es\/2021\/06\/Raptor-Lake-Rumores-2.jpg\" alt=\"Intel Raptor Lake Rumores\" class=\"wp-image-621783\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>La llegada de Pat Gelsinger como CEO de Intel supone un cambio de planes, pero debido a la forma de trabajar de toda empresa de semiconductores esos cambios no se pueden realizar a corto plazo, por lo que el mapa de ruta de Intel, al menos hasta lo que concierne el a\u00f1o 2022 no ha sufrido cambios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan Moore\u2019s Law is Dead a Intel parece asustarle m\u00e1s lo que pueda desarrollar Apple que AMD en cuanto a procesadores en el futuro. El motivo de ello parece ser que el hecho de poder utilizar los nodos m\u00e1s avanzados de TSMC les da ventaja por encima de AMD y existe la posibilidad que Apple quiera mirar al mercado de CPUs de alto rendimiento. Tambi\u00e9n se comenta que Intel en su nueva pol\u00edtica de licenciar sus f\u00e1bricas a terceros se habr\u00eda puesto en contacto para conseguir la fabricaci\u00f3n de una nueva GPU de NVIDIA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No olvidemos que todas estas informaciones son rumores de hechos lejanos y por el momento deber\u00edamos tomarlas como lo que son. En todo caso, el futuro de Intel pinta interesante, en especial por su salto a los Tiles o Chiplets, el cual s\u00ed que tenemos confirmado gracias a Raptor
