Cay\u00f3 m\u00e1s del 10% el lunes, su mayor desplome en un d\u00eda en m\u00e1s de un mes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La liquidaci\u00f3n se produjo luego de que el Banco Popular de China (PBOC) inst\u00f3 a los bancos y empresas de pagos m\u00e1s grandes de China a tomar medidas en\u00e9rgicas contra las operaciones de criptomonedas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las operaciones con criptomonedas fueron efectivamente vetadas de China por un cambio de reglas de 2017, pero las plataformas de venta libre (OTC) con sede en el extranjero han surgido para recibir pagos de personas con sede en el pa\u00eds y compran criptomonedas en su nombre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cB\u00e1sicamente dice que ahora las transacciones OTC no son leg\u00edtimas (\u2026), los bancos no nos permiten transferir dinero para compras y ventas de criptomonedas\u201d, dijo Bobby Lee, jefe de la aplicaci\u00f3n de billetera de criptomonedas Ballet y ex director ejecutivo de BTC China, el primer operador de bitcoin de China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras la declaraci\u00f3n del PBOC del lunes, los bancos, incluido el Agricultural Bank of China y Alipay, la omnipresente plataforma de pago de Ant Group, afirmaron que intensificar\u00edan el monitoreo para erradicar las transacciones criptogr\u00e1ficas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ether, la segunda mayor criptomoneda, se apreciaba levemente a 1,980 d\u00f3lares luego de
